What to expect when working with JMPO

Getting organized is not an overnight fix, and it likely took some time to get where you are at today. We will be right there to help you plan or work hand in hand with you to organize your spaces.
We suggest you start with a 3-hour consultation or hands-on session. If you are motivated to work on your own, you will have a game plan to follow. If you need more support, we can work out a plan. Strategy and hands-on work can also be combined.
In some situations, a team approach can accelerate our work, lower the cost and/or provide additional services. Some clients want a strategy to get out from under things on their own. A session can be spent assessing any or all parts of the house as well as setting your goals. Some clients want hands-on support. We will get surfaces opened up, shelves sorted out, floors cleared. We can find homes for everything, and we work together on every decision. We don't decide what stays or what goes. That is up to you! You know your things better than anyone. If you are stuck, we'll guide you to a decision that feels right for you and meets your stated goals. There are MANY ways that an organizing session can go. From bringing down boxes for client review, pre-sorting items for client decisions, organizing the contents of cabinet, and including Body-Doubling, which is just being present while the client works to keep them focused and engaged in their paperwork or other task. |
Getting Started on Organizing1. Complete the Contact form
2. We will call you to go over your main organizing goals - what brought you to this point of needing help and your time frame for this project. 3. A single session is at least 3 hours and will get you going. It may or may not be enough to complete your project. 4. We provide a written summary of what we do, what's still to be done, resources and ideas. Before you do start, know that you do not need to clean up before we arrive. Really!
