How Does it Work?
Your home or office is unique to you, but probably not uniquely disorganized. No matter your state of affairs, there are worse!
Our approach to your needs centers around organizing principles that can address any size problem. We don't have a one-size-fits-all approach. One person may need a thorough consultation and plan of action with no hands-on help. Others may have the plan all set, and just needs the labor to execute.
We want to start with a clear understanding of your goals, obstacles and expecations. We will:
• Determine the scope: a pile, a room, a part of the house, the whole house, a business
• Take stock of what is working and what is not
• Strategize to meet those needs: estimate time, create a plan of action
• Put the plan into action! We work 1-1 with you or can bring in a larger team to get more done in less time.
We will not be shocked by any amount of clutter nor will we be disappointed with very small organizational needs.
Your home and your life are your business, no one else’s. We will not discuss your personal or business information with anyone else without your express permission.
We are a team! We will give you professional, supportive advice and work hard for you, and you have the right to re-direct us or express any concerns. We will cooperate to solve your organizing challenges. Throughout our teamwork, you will find us to be respectful of your space, possessions and style.
All supplies and materials purchased are the responsibility of the client. We will not purchase anything on your behalf without prior authorization. We can assist with research and purchases and even help find free items through online sites.
If you have excess items that you wish to give away, we can direct them to a new home.
Each session is documented and a written review of work done, future plans, tasks to do, resources recommended will be provided.
We offer services by the hour. When you choose to purchase a pre-paid bundle of hours, you can receive a discount on the total price. If a team solution (two or more organizers) is appropriate, hourly rates may decrease.
We also offer gift certificates!
Joan is very helpful in moving through the “stuff” I’ve accumulated and in a calm, effective manner, helping me sort out what I really want to save and what I want to toss. She’s right there beside you doing this “challenging” work, and I’ve been able to “lighten my load” of many unnecessary boxes.
